Below are biographies of our law firm partners:
Anthony J. Messina, Esq.
Anthony J. Messina, a fourth generation Tampa, Florida native, graduated from Tampa Catholic High School where he was active in both basketball and football. Following high school, Anthony attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Finance. After Florida State, Anthony attended Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, where he earned his Juris Doctorate.
Anthony began his career practicing as an associate attorney for Mark T. Tate, P.A. for several years, where he worked for nationally prominent clients including the New York Yankees and Advantage Waypoint. Anthony has substantial experience in a broad range of transactional areas including real estate, business transactions with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, and probate and estate planning. Anthony is licensed in the State Courts of Florida.
In addition to his business and real estate legal practice at Messina Law Group, P.A., Anthony is the owner of Keystone Title Agency, Inc. Keystone Title has been in business for over 25 years, closing real estate transactions throughout the Tampa Bay Area and west coast of Florida. As an owner of Keystone Title, Anthony is personally committed to assisting Keystone Title’s clients with successful closings.
In his spare time, Anthony enjoys playing basketball, traveling, spending time with his family, and watching Florida State University and all local Tampa Bay sports teams. Anthony recently became a father, and he and his family are members of Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church in Ybor City.
Paul M. Messina, Esq.
Paul M. Messina, Jr., a fourth generation Tampa, Florida native, graduated from Tampa Catholic High School where he was active in basketball and football. Following high school, Paul attended Florida State University in Tallahassee, Florida, and obtained a Bachelor of Science in Accounting and Real Estate. After Florida State, Paul attended Stetson University College of Law in Gulfport, Florida, where he earned his Juris Doctorate and his Master of Business Administration.
Paul began his career at a mid-size Tampa law firm before moving on to Greenspoon Marder, P.A., an AMLaw Magazine’s top 200 firm. Prior to Messina Law Group, P.A., Paul spent nearly eight years with Blank Rome, LLP, an international AMLaw Magazine’s top 100 firm, where he represented some of the world’s largest corporations. Over the years, Paul has gained extensive experience in real estate law, probate and estate planning, family law, and civil litigation. Paul has served as lead counsel in hundreds of cases and is experienced in appellate practice and oral argument, trial court litigation, post-trial litigation, and alternative dispute resolution.
Paul is a Martindale-Hubbell AV Preeminent rated attorney, the highest possible rating in both legal ability and ethical standards. Paul and his wife are parents of two young children. In his spare time, Paul enjoys playing basketball, spending time with his family, watching Florida State sports, and coaching his son’s youth league baseball, basketball, and flag football teams. Paul has provided hundreds of hours of pro bono legal assistance to the (Tampa) Bay Area Legal Services.
Adam D. Palmer, Esq.
Mr. Palmer is a Florida native and has practiced law in South Florida since 1988. He is licensed to practice in all courts of the State of Florida, as well as the U.S. District Courts for the Southern and Middle Districts of Florida. He regularly handles matters before the Financial Industry Regulatory Authority (“FINRA”) and the American Arbitration Association (“AAA”). His practice involves representations of both Plaintiffs and Defendants in various business-related disputes. More particularly, his practice is concentrated in the areas of trial law, civil litigation, arbitration and mediation of matters involving business, investor rights, securities, real estate and construction.
Mr. Palmer is honored to have achieved the highest attorney rating available from Martindale-Hubbell® Peer Review Ratings,™considered to be the gold standard in attorney ratings for more than a century. In addition to being recognized by his peers, Mr. Palmer has received significant recognition for his civic and charitable work, as well as his case results.
Ben earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Pennsylvania, graduating with a B.A. in European History and Business Law in 1999. He attended law school at Emory University School of Law in Atlanta, Georgia. After graduating law school Ben has since concentrated in practicing exclusively in the civil courts throughout the state of Georgia with a focus almost entirely on litigated real estate matters. Ben has handled 1000’s of cases, and currently focuses on general claims relating to commercial and residential real estate and other real property matters for landlords. Ben also specializes in IT Project Management and Integration, and has previously worked as a developer, banker, consultant, and financier.
Jackson earned his undergraduate degree from the University of Georgia graduating with a B.A. Degree in History. Jackson attended law school at Atlanta’s John Marshall Law School. Since graduating law school Jackson has since concentrated his practice on landlord-tenant disputes, real estate litigation, collections, and real property foreclosures. He has several years of experience in magistrate court where he developed experience in LL/T.
